Join us in welcoming Dr. Oluseyi Olaboyede Atanda, Yeye Siju Osunyemi, and Allison Osunalako Mullins.
Dr. Atanda is a Babalawo/Ifa Priest (traditional Yoruba priest), the Ajana Awo of Osogbo, Nigeria.
He acts as Coordinator of HATTAF International , Nigerian chapter, General Secretary of Traditional Religion Worshippers Association, State of OSUN (TRWASO),Nigeria and is a practicing OBGYN physician with sub specialty in Assisted Reproduction Technology.
Yeye Siju Osunyemi is a Priestess of Osun in the Yoruba tradition, mixed media artist, and serves in many organizations in the local community
Allison Osunalako Mullins is a Priestess of Osun in the Yoruba tradition, an Appalachian Witch, Interfaith Minister and a Licensed Massage Therapist and Sound Healer.
Yeye and Allison will be discussing the history of the merging of African and Appalachian traditions and what it means for our collective future and spiritual evolution.
Baba Atanda will be discussing the path of Self Actualization in Ifa, the Yoruba traditional spiritual system. The Yoruba are an indigenous people of Western Nigeria, whose rich traditions encompass divination, herbal medicine and charms for healing the mind, body, and soul.
In addition to the discussion, he will be offering spiritual consultations by appointment. Consultations are limited for this event, but will be available during the remainder of his stay in Asheville through May 29, 2019.
A simple Orisa archetype (guiding spirit) head reading is $25.
A full 30 minute spiritual consultation is $50 and will include chants and messages and an Orisa archetype head reading.
